Jaylon was born to Rachel Blackson in Monroe, Louisiana. At the age of two months, Lentrelle Morgan, Sr., entered his life and became his father.
Jaylon was baptized at Olive Branch Baptist Church where he was a member of the youth choir, usher board, and step team. Jaylon attended school within the Ouachita Parish school system. Jaylon worked as an employee of Wal-Mart of Winnsboro until his death.
On Wednesday, February 18, 2026, God dispatched his angels to bring Jaylon R’mon Blackson home to him.
Jaylon was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Daisy Mae Blackson; aunt, Joyce M. Blackson; and paternal great-grandmother, Bettye Jo Morgan.
He leaves to cherish his memories forever: his loving mother, Rachel Blackson of Winnsboro, LA; father, Lentrelle Morgan, Sr., of West Monroe, LA; three siblings, Shakiah Boyd of Monroe, LA, Lenterrica Morgan of Winnsboro, LA, and Lentrelle Morgan, Jr., of West Monroe, LA; four nieces, Harmony, Londyn, Lyn’Niya, and Kae’Lynn; nephew, Kadarius Smith, Jr.; grandmothers, Brenda Blackson of Winnsboro, LA, Edith Morgan of West Monroe, LA, and Lillie Boyd of Monroe, LA; godfather, Terrel Woods of West Monroe, LA; one living great-aunt, Della Mae White; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
